If you have ever heard Amy Grant's song "HATS" you'll understand a little bit more about me... the lyric I most sympathize with is... "what am I supposed to do?"

I'm a logical Spock-type personality who is a research writer, homeschooling mom of three (currently grades 4, 3, and 2), a practically full-time retail worker, and, and, and.... (deep breath) I'm probably forgetting something here too. This blog is my attempt to corral my educational ideas and favorite articles, get my writing out in the world, and provide ideas for other homeschoolers and teachers. I hold a Ed.S. in Teaching and Learning, an MS in Elementary Education and a BA in History,That's right, Egghead is getting all fancy-schmancy now!
